Several men stood there in a dark armor. They were totally covered in it. It had a light blue shade and made it look very majestic. Between all of them there where two in a much more comfortable looking armor. It has a golden-red shade over the deep black. The moment they saw us, Case stepped in front of us and greeted them: “Welcome! Let’s just skip these unnecessary words and let me show you what we’ve come up with.” A third person joined them. She was smaller and shining in a golden green shade. She took off her helmet. “Show me, what that boy can do!” she said to Case. I was stunned. It was no human. The creature looking at me, was a young female Dragon with a human shape. She looked like she was around my age. Then the two others took of their helmets. “Luna, not so wild okay?” one asked. He was a lion with a human shape. His golden hair was beautiful. The third one was female. She looked like a cheetah as human. “No, she is right, he looks interesting!” she said in a sweet voice towards the lion. Case nodded. “Interesting choice, I bet you won’t be unhappy!” he said towards the young girl. Then he turned around and looked at me and Shira. “Shira, Jake! Get here!” We stepped towards him. I made sure I was closer to them than Shira was, but still closer towards Shira than towards them. “This -Case pointed at me- is Jake, a very intelligent young man, around your daughters age. Jake, your job is to protect Shira.” He said. Then he pointed at Shira and continued: “This is Shira, Jakes female partner.” The lion nodded. I panicked and made a step towards Shira. “Air forcefield!” I whispered. I heard a silent whispering and the air around Shira moved barely noticeable. “Okay, you two are prepared?” the lion suddenly asked. I unsurely nodded. He lifted his arm and all others in armor immediately aimed their rifles at Shira. “Open fire!” he said, and they did. I concentrated myself but I already felt scales all over my body. I jumped in front of Shira in just the right moment and caught all bullets with my back and wings. I was surprised I still had my human shape but was covered in my dark red scales. After some bullet rain I turned around and looked at them. “Is that all?” I asked honestly surprised. “Impressive…” the lion said, petting his muzzle with his big paw. “Anti-matter bullets!” he then said. All of his guards reloaded. “Vacuum!” I said and Shira created a group of vacuums around herself. It was split in in several sections by air pockets. I jumped forward. They totally didn’t expect me to. The guards were still in the middle of reloading. I threw them through the air one by one. Then several actually finished the reload. Four to be exact. Two aimed at me and opened fire. The others shot towards Shira. For a split second I felt fear but then saw that the vacuums around her worked. Now the bullets hit me. They were way more powerful. The small explosions were strong but not strong enough. I slowly but surely stepped towards them and stood right in front of them when they ran out of bullets. I was about to throw them around when I noticed an unexpected movement. The lion has decided to attack Shira himself. I whirled around and with a powerful movement I sent a powerful shockwave towards him with my wings. His long cape whirled around and he a lost his balance. The landed on his paws, made a flop and jumped closer to Shira. But he was facing towards me. I jumped towards him and within the jump turned in a slim agile dragon. I rammed my head on his chest armor and he got thrown away several meters. He again, found his balance midair and landed perfectly. Then he put off his cape and sprinted towards me. I turned back into a human shape and rammed my wing claws into his armor form his left. He managed to stand the hit and rammed his fist onto my chest. He was strong, way stronger than I expected. But I also stood my ground. “Very impressive!” the lion complimented me. I put even more strength into my wings. Then I pulled my wing back, ducked and got back up while spin jumping in the air. I rammed my wing into his side again and this time he stumbled. This time I also immediately did a follow up attack. When he almost had his balance back, I turned into a dragon again and rammed my head at him several times. He tried to grab by horns but whit one last powerful hit I threw him on his back. I jumped back and landed behind Shira, symbolically spreading my wings around her from behind. The lion got back up, shaking his head. His armor had a small scratch where I hit him. Almost unnoticeable at first sight. “So, I guess you are the leader of this group!” the lion said now in a more friendly but still majestic voice. I placed my wings on my shoulder and stepped next to Shira. “In fact, he is!” Case said.
