I wouldn't keep the collection on the lawn, where anyone could see it--someone might see a statue that they recognize.

Catchin' up... catchin' up... as I said elsewhere, downloaded this to read during downtime and found out I had no downtime! Isn't that always the way it goes?

Like it... mystery, anguish, thievery and a double-cross! Although I had to re-read the double-cross two or three times to try to figure out which one was Hauke. It wasn't immediately apparent to me, but as you comment above says, it's from the days when Hauke wasn't quote the basilisk he is today.

And the scene with Kyroraz being turned to stone... intense! Well described, for sure.
