These are some of the jewelry pieces i made to wear with my Mountain Man costume for my summer job. Beads, (false) bone rounds, and claws for a native american look. I used the traditional patterns of some of the tribes that were local to the area i claim my reenactment character to be working in (Willamette Valley near Ft Vancouver, WA).
Green glass beads and silver beads were highly prized, red and white were much more common. If this was a completely traditional piece with all original beads of the era, i would have been highly well regarded by any tribe of the day for these pieces, as well as an extremely successful trader with the Hudson Bay Company
