I never quite understood how the Metal Slimes and Metal Drake Slimes worked.
I know they have high defense and evasion, rendering all attacks as 1 damage, but if you do get consecutive hits, it also seems to have a very small health pool for what is essentially a metric sh*t ton of EXP. Not to mention metal slimes are very cowardly; they will not support their allies and use basic magic that does minuscule damage, and flee after a set amount of turns.
I understand it from a gameplay perspective; but that's like the tank of your party just leaving you.
