But in the glory of stop motion animation, the softness of a pure video clip can't match the rest of the animations

...It's quite hard to make a remote Controlled car look good in Stop Motion when it's moving... And even harder to make it work properly without the thing look like it's teleporting.

There's also a Uniqueness to stop motion when done Right.

So? Some things can't be done in motion on such a small scale.... like drifting or spinning in place. I say this as a stop motion animator of model trains.
