In 2020, I decided to finally get a reference sheet to really finalize what my character looked like. For years, I had referenced a submission titled "Pretty Boy" from 
ChimeraSynx , and to this day, I still rely on that character heavily for inspiration. ChimeraSynx's OC is pretty much what got me into the fandom, and really let me figure a lot of things out about myself and who I was along the way. Because of this, I thought it only apt to draw on it for my fursona.
After years of wanting to view myself as this weird purple alien creature, I finally asked ChimeraSynx if I could use him as a fursona, and to my delight, he was extremely positive with that idea.
Some liberties have been taken since ChimeraSynx's original art, mainly for artistic reasons, to shorten the neck and change the head design slightly. Maybe one day I'll change it to be more like the original piece, as the original piece still has a lot of sentimental value to me.
Some rough details about Ty/his species:
Ty's species is currently nameless (to my knowledge, I never thought to ask ChimeraSynx, whoops). Common names friends have come up for me over the years consists anywhere from "purp" to "weird purple alien thing".
He is roughly 8 feet tall.
His diet is carnivorous in nature.
Clothing usually is non-existent, a loin-cloth at most.
His species' society at first glance is agricultural, non-developed. However, their society is actually very high tech, space faring even, to some degree. Their architecture is extremely minimalistic and has a focus on not disturbing the world around it, as they once were damaging their world with mindless and endless growth. At some point in their history, they had a major shift back onto nature and started incorporating nature into their everyday lives and architecture.

JamKitsune - Jam was a wonderful artist to work with, and she really helped work out some of the artistic roadblocks that I had in my mind about how I wanted to change Ty from ChimeraSynx's original concept.
