After a busy day and especially a busy evening, it was time for the big green gator to close his bar. Night had slowly fallen over
Bayou Landing and the noisy atmosphere of the bar had given way to the soothing calm of the night. Paul had to finish cleaning
the dishes so as not to have to do it the next day. It wasn't until he wiped off the last glass of beer that he sat down on one of the
bar stools to take a breather. Without realizing it, the green reptile slowly begins to fall asleep. Leaning on the wooden stand, his
little eyes closed, he let himself be carried away in Morphé's arms. The land of dreams was not far away. But it was not the best
position to fully enjoy a well-deserved sleep. He will wake up, probably a few minutes later, to go upstairs to enjoy his warm bed.
As many other pictures I previously did with him, I use my gator OC Paul Webster for these exercises. I love playing with this
greeny beast and put him in many sorts of silly/interesting situations. For this new drawing featuring Paul, I wanted to mainly
train on a sleepy pose featuring him sleeping on his bar. I wanted put a very peaceful face on him, with a little abstract painting
beind him (that I also drew myself) representing some sort of land of dreams. As always when it's about to draw this silly green
beast, it was definitely a great pleasure to work on this drawing during a live stream on Picarto!
