Eddie was the dog at the stables where I ride. He was fantastic! Always full of energy and life. He'd spend hours running around, chasing the water and fetching balls.
Then one day I got to the yard and his bed was empty and his bowl was gone...
He'd been given away...
I thought he'd be ok at his new home...
I was wrong.
My friend told me he was put down a few days ago.
Why?
He'd bitten a child, in the face.
This was NOT like Eddie, he lived around plenty of young children and the house he lived in even had a baby, which he was fantastic with.
It's the owners fault, she doesn't know how to look after animals, she should have been put to sleep, not him.

My dog was put down similar to that. Apparently my dog was attacking the adoptive owner's "Prize dog" due to a childhood thing(my dog thought that dog was attacking me and fought it off- so it was kinda imprinted in her to fend away that dog, pecking-order thing) so instead of calling us to take her back she took our dog in her backyard and shot it... :(
I hate dipshits who can't take care of their pets... Which is why I won't be getting anymore cats for a while... my bro decided it would be "fun" to RUN down the hallway leap into the air to try and scare him away... yeah... he sat there and my dumbass brother landed right on his tail >_<

i hate it when people think that they have the right to kill another living being.
especially when its simply expressing itself the only way it knows how when responding to a stressful situation.
