Of all of my flagship characters, Felicia has been around the longest. I can't quite remember how I got the idea for her, but I just went with it. This first sketch was actually the cover to a short comic. Back then, White Shadow was set more in current times rather than the near future as it is now.
The newest iamge of her also serves as a comic cover, so this actually turned out to be a pretty good comparison across the board :)

I'm sure that both Car Woman and Black Cat had a lot to do with her overall idea. That's probably it actually, I just could remember exact what sparked the idea for actaully creating her and the following comic.
As for the shoes, I've recently got it that they usually wear some kind of toeless/heeless boot, and some even chose to wear a full boot (usually depending on their occupation).

And here she is! The oldest of the old! Although saying that will probably result in Felicia killing me violently. I do love how you constantly work on her though and never leave her alone for too long. She's had what, a dozen different outfit evolutions over time? Always been a fan of this character and she's what got me into your art in the first place. Just wouldn't be Funky art without the White Shadow.
She wouldn't kill you, just probably beat you to a barely conscience pulp :) lol
She's one of those characters that I'm constantly tweaking the design of. I think I've got her to a pretty much final design now, though no doubt there'll be the odd thing here and there that I'll keep messing about with. Awesome to know that she's what brought you here :D
