During his nightly excursions, Companion (and his host, Enigma), began to realize that there were things he had an uncanny knack for. Buried deep down were instincts suited to staying hidden, tracking, hunting. Combined with an almost supernatural reserve of stamina, it was clear that whatever the symbiote was in his previous life was equipped for survival.
For an adventuring detective, these can certainly be traits. When the need arises to hunt for food, cross long distances, or tail a person-of-interest, Enigma knows that he can rely on Companion to handle the task when he isn't fully capable of doing it on his own.
Just be thankful you aren't the person being tailed.

Marsel-Defender. I'm particularly happy with the musculature and bestial stance in this piece. It sells Companion as something of a force-of-nature on his own, separate from Enigma.

Companion's body is variable. Most of the time, he'd probably be as firm as a bodybuilder's form would be.
But he can weaken the chemical bonds of his (and the hosts) body to make himself more viscous, able to pull himself through cracked windows and other small openings.

So he is hardy at the base but can "liquify" himself like a symbiote can to move places, he does not seem to be leaving black splats wherever he goes, but assume that if I was to squish his hand, really really hard, my fingers would be more likely to sink into him and reach Enigma's hand rather than Companion's hand "braking", am I thinking correctly?
