There's a certain few unspoken rules about the opulent den of a corrupt politician/royal, regardless of where you factor into the equation.

1) If you're the crime lord in question, find a less obvious hiding place for some of your loot than behind the bed. It can be as lavish as you like, someone's STILL going to check behind it.

2) If you're the master thief who's robbing said corrupt politician or regal figure, consider holding off on robbing the scumbag until you're sure the cops aren't investigating him that same night.

3) If you're the police inspector investigating the situation, see if you can make use of the thief's talents before threatening to zap him if he doesn't put the loot back where he found it.

4) If you're ANY of the above, keep in mind that you might not be the only ones involved. You never know who might be watching, or whose side they're on.
