I felt like an easy draw today so did a simple picture of just the Rackety-Coon Chile, here holding his water pistol. It's from around the introduction of Uncle Baldwin but I forget how any of the action fit in. The big discovery while drawing this is that I made his cheeks way too wide, first time out, and needed to redraw them to be on model. Also that my instinct was to draw his eye mask with vertical strokes when it's plain Kelly was drawing them horizontally, and redrawing them that way does work much better.
In the original, a daily, there wasn't any coloration to the Rackety-Coon Chile's fur apart from his eyemask, tail rings, and ear outlines. That seemed a little too blank for a picture just of him, though, and I like how it filled out here.
