Not as long or exciting of a chapter this time, but the next one is close to double this length and introduces a brand new character. Or a few new characters, I should say.
I wanted to setup what Peacemaker is going to be doing with the garden from now on, as much of that is going to be happening offscreen (or ... offpage?). I didn't figure most readers would be interested in the details of the character landscaping and planting, so most of that is just going to only be alluded to, with maybe some brief visits to show how it's coming along. Obviously the garden is not the focus of the plot, only the thing which is meant to get him to the school.
