I have a thing for "the serpent with the apple" theme. I keep drawing it without really thinking.

Scanner ate the shading on this one. Silly scanner.

I remember seeing folk paintings when I was a kid where they'd paint in every individual leaf. I think part of me is still trying to replicate this.

I remember seeing a tree something like this when I was a kid. For a long time all my trees looked like topiary bushes (or at least a ball on a stick).
