One of my three werebeast gals that i had  hanazawa create for me a while back.

As part of my ongoing project of creating and worldbuilding Libertyverse; character concepts play a major role in helping build the world setting. One of the members of a pop-idol werebeast superhero team; the werewolf Lupina.

Note! The information below is subjected to change as the concepts and worldbuilding is further fleshed out!

Helena Calvet hails from the earth city of Nice, located in what use to be southern france, apart of the Mediterranean Commonwealth; which is one of the 12 governing regions on the planet. Born into a well off family; she lived on earth up until the age of 16 before her parents decided to move from earth to the Centauri Commonwealth, which dashed young Helena's dreams of becoming a football player in Earth's planet wide league. However she would discover during the journey to Centauri on a space liner, that she had two hidden talents, first being her singing ability which she took on while singing karaoke in the ship lounge with her folks. The other however was when she first transformed into a werewolf during the last leg of the journey, when the ship itself was infiltrated by a group of mercenaries made up of aliens, monsters and lead by a mysterious Lycaonian; who intended on hijacking the ship and holding the crew and passengers hostage.

It's believed the presents of the Lycaonian on the ship, triggered a defensive response in Helena's own body; causing her to transform and panic, going into hiding deep within the ship itself; as the monsters slowly began to gain a foothold onboard. Scared and afraid Helena's hand was forced when it became apparent that her parents and the other passengers were in grave danger; meaning she had to do something to stop these creatures. She started by going after the weaker monsters; while drawing attention to herself causing the mercenaries to focus on trying to track down Helena instead of taking over the ship.

Even with her inexperience, she managed to keep up her running battles with the monsters; who seemed to be unprepared, not expecting to face a werebeast on the ship. By the time the Lycaonian and the other aliens and monsters had cornered and forced Helena out into the open, the ongoing battles onboard had prompted the ship's crew to issue a distress call to nearby Centauri Commonwealth naval forces; which arrived in time to force the mercenaries to break off their attack. With the Lycaonian off the ship, helena became to revert back to normall; but would be caught by a group for centauri commonwealth superheroes that had boarded the ship while responding to the distress call.

To her surprise however, she was let go without incident upon them witnessing her reverting back to normal; allowed to return to her parents and continue with the rest of the trip to Centauri. A month or two later after settling down on the commonwealth's capital world of Albion, Helena would be visited by those same superheroes, who had been monitoring her and observing her attempts to transform again with mixed results. She was told that they could help her control her unique abilities, given she was able to save the space liner and all onboard all by herself; and her singing talent had also not gone unnoticed either; giving her an opportunity to make a difference in the system and beyond while having her future secured.

She would accept after some time deliberating and only after gaining her parents blessing, being accepted into the commonwealth's hero academy; while also having her cover job established as part of a traveling pop idol music group. To her surprise, she was not the only werebeast to be apart of the same group; as the centauri commonwealth deliberately assisted in establishing the group based around other werebeasts with musical talents. Going under the werewolf hero name of Lupina; she is able to transform at will; granting her much more control over her enhanced strength, agility and durability, heightened senses and limited energy projection powers that are focused via her custom made gloves.
