Thanks! Save for the spots, the markings are actually just REALLY simplified markings from a Tamaskan dog: http://www.doublejkennels.com/kenne.....s/0/wolfie.jpg
I threw in the spots because I loved Dalmatians with an unreasonable passion years ago when I made this character, so I made it a Tamaskan/Dalmatian. xD

Haha well, when I found them, they were VERY new breed (in fact I think only one generation of them had ever been registered). 2003, about. And it was more like laziness; I didn't feel like coloring detail a lot. xD
Thanks! Yeah, I really like natural colors too. Wild colors are great, but I think that they're better for fursuits, and natural colors look better on paper.

And yeah, you're right. I like colorful suits, but... on paper or computer, it's blegh. Some designs really look like highlighters just got to and destroyed a good animal. D:
