My wonderful friend
FuqMeGrowl was kind enough to buy this design adopt from the talented
uDomingo, and I really think it fit my character that I had made for a D&D campaign! Honestly,
the moment I was given this, ideas sprouted in my head for what I could do with him! That's ultimately
how I came up the idea for a gold curse for this poor Minotaur. Myles has lived a rough life, leaving his
home behind him after the untimely passing of his father, leaving Myles behind to bury the older
Minotaur under the magnolia tree on their farm next to his long dead mother.
Being caught by slavers, spending years under the service of others, Myles wouldn't see much of an
upturn in his life. Bring in a mage that wanted to enchant the Minotaur to make him fetch a higher
price for resale, Myles would be saddled with a curse that saw his body capable of melting down any
gold that enters his body, only to be expelled at a doubled rate, causing great pain to Myles in the
process. This curse would see him labeled with the nickname 'Midas', much to the hatred of Myles.
Sometime later, Myles would finally manage to escape his bonds and regain his freedom, traveling far
from his homeland in the hopes that the name 'Midas' would never again be uttered in his presence.
The Minotaur would come across a kindly mage in his travels, who gave him an enchanted nose ring,
dubbed the Nose Ring of Fool's Gold. This ring would cast an illusion on anything gold that Myles has
on his person, or touched, to show a black color instead of the golden one that had become a natural
part of his body. Taking this kindness, Myles would strike out into the world, hoping to regain the
normal life that had been taken from him.
This is the view of him without the illusion active. This uses the base done by
Amarian, and looks fantastic.
