I know you were just drawing a generic shipwreck, but the shipwreck nerd in me is crying out to analyze it. So here I go:
She was born to a noble family and they were on a ship. To me, the lines look like a freighter, so they must have been fleeing something in anonymity instead of taking a passenger liner. The damage to me suggests a boiler explosion, probably kicked off by a bomb, either a coal torpedo or something else. What clues me into that is the way the amidships portion of the vessel is demolished, and for the "time period" (IIRC, equivalent to the 1920s-1930s) where your stories are set, that is where the boilers and machinery were, as well as the main superstructure. the force of the blast would have toppled the derricks used for handling cargo, as it was still break-bulk freight and containerization was 20-30 years off.
Sorry for overanalyizing it, but the nerd in me was crying out.

You have created an amazing world populated by great characters, I can't wait to see how it evolves over the years.
As for the detailed analysis, blame my particular brand of autism. Naval history is one of my other passions, so when I see something like you have depicted here, I can't help but want to analyze it. While other kids were reading things like Magic Treehouse, Judy B Jones, and Wayside School, I was reading about Trafalgar, Jutland, Hampton Roads, and Midway.
I probably would have gotten even more detailed and gone into why I drew the conclusions I did, but I had to get ready for work.

1920's-1930's... Hmm. Roll the clock back another decade to the 1910-1920, the Bolshevik Revolution. Brings back memories of the Romanov's and the fables surrounding their daughter, Anastasia. There's still so many unanswered questions surrounding her survival, and if that was her in the first place, or an imposter. Superimpose a bit of the exiled royalty background onto Karma's, and it fits like a glove.
A pity all of the remains were discovered and verified by DNA trace. That would have made for a fantastic piece of history. But it's tragic and sad.
