Silver was walking through the forest her minded clouded as she walked.
"How the hell am I gonna kill Plague he has nine tails! Nine!" Silver thought enraged to herself, Silver wanted to stay away from Plague forever as training with him was becoming damaging to her relationships. Silver jumped a bit as she heard a voice behind her causing her ears to peek through her human form.
"Hi Silver! What are you doing out here?" Raven asked sounding confused.
"I don't honestly know.." Silver said with a sigh Raven looked at her pity lit her beautiful amber eye Silver didn't look at her scar as she felt bad she couldn't stop the attack on her.
"I almost forgot what I came out here to ask you about! I was wondering if you wanted to come on a walk with me! Raven said with a smile Silver looked up feeling cheerful, even though Rot still followed her.
" Sure! I don't have anything better to do! Silver said with a smile.
The two walked for a bit through the forest, Silver admired the way the snow froze bushes as it looked pretty to her. Raven began to run ahead after a few minutes.
"Hey wait up!" Silver cried chasing Raven as fast as she could go.
"We're here!" Raven said with a grin. Silver looked up panting. Silver gasped in amazement.
The clearing they had stopped in had a frozen cave with a pool near it, with a tiny frozen stream running through it. The ice had frozen it all over Silver wondered how it would look in summer.
"Here come sit here! Raven said sitting on her jacket, Silver followed. The pain Rot was causing nearly vanished. Silver never wanted to leave this spot, the time they has spent there seemed almost magic. Raven eventually got up with a stretch.
" We should get going if we stay too long the others might worry about us" Raven said, Silver slowly got up her mussels stiff.
Ow.. All that sitting made my foot fall asleep. Silver complained Raven giggled Silver couldn't help herself from smiling on the way back. Silver paused as she had begun to get a headache, without warning a sudden pain struck her ears and stomach.
Argh! Silver gasped unwillingly shifting back to her fox form, blood had begun to drip down her face blocking her view. Silver fell to the ground limply. "Silver!" Silver heard Raven gasp in shock.
Silver reawoke in a snowy forest where she trained with Plague, Silver looked up unsurprised.
"You finally showed up!" Plague said his long brown and black tails lashing with anger.
"Sorry my day wa-" before she could continue Plague cut her off.
"SILENCE I DON'T WANT ANY EXUSES!" Plague slashed her eye, Silver felt too tired to retaliate. Silver kept her head down in shame as she followed Plague. Silver wanted to retch in disgust as she saw Snake, instantly she looked away. Silver sat down and waited for Plague's instructions.
"What will we do today?" Snake asked seeming a little too excited for being about to probably kill someone. Plague growled to silence him
"We're going to do a small training experiment to see what you know." Plague said simply he took a breath before explaining what they had to do.
"Do you see those rabbits over there?" Silver and Snake nodded.
" I want one of you to hunt them and the other to defend them, if the rabbit is killed the hunter wins, if the rabbit passes that rock. Plague flicked his tail towards a boulder.
"The one defending the rabbit wins, do you understand?" Silver and Snake nodded. "Snake this round you will defend them, While Silver tries to hunt them." Plague said, Silver readied herself to run. She wasn't going to let herself be beaten by Snake of all kitsune.
"Prepare yourself rat!" Silver snarled to Snake silently as she waited for Plague's signal. Silver as soon ash she saw Plague's tail flick she ran as fast as her legs would take her. Silver jumped at a small seemingly sickly white rabbit, Snake pushed her over. Silver let out an angry snarl as the rabbit began to get close to the rock, Silver slashed Snake's eye and ran at it again slowly getting closer. Silver was about to pounce before a weight on one of her tails stopped her.
"Gah!" Silver let a small squeak as the wind was knocked out of her chest. Snake let her go instantly
"Are you okay?" Snake asked looking concerned.
"Yes I'm fine! Silver spat as she got up. " I don't want you're corcern of Kiyomi's sake!" Silver muttered silently to herself Silver went up to where Plague stood his tails lashed in rage. He looked like he wanted to shred her, and he probably would.
"You're such a disappointment, you're too sloppy of a fighter to handle a five tail!? I thought I trained you better!" Plague said his voice harsh.
"Don't be so harsh we both tried our best.." Snake said, Silver glared at him.
"And you! You're too soft Snake you could've killed her when you had the chance and yet you didn't why?" Plague snarled. Silver kept her head bowed.
"That's why they drove you out so easily! YOU'RE WEAK!" Plague snapped in Snake's face, Silver wanted to insult Snake but if she did Plague would probably have her hide.
"Try better next round! Snake you're now the hunter, Silver you're now the defender. Now don't mess this up this time got that!? Plague said his tone challenging. Silver let Snake have a head start before chasing him, if he reaches the tree first he might try and test his luck, Silver let out a loud bark which startled several rabbits, Snake snarled at her before chasing one.
" I don't think so!" Silver spat biting his hind leg. She tried to remember her fight with Yuki and Plague taught her. Silver threw Snake to the ground hoping to shred his ears before the rabbit got away. Before she could Snake kicked her face and began to run again. Silver gave chase more determined this time. Imaging her own exile to try and fuel her hatred against him. Silver felt like something deep down was telling her don't kill him Silver swiped Snake's legs out from under him. Silver pinned him and shakily raised a paw.
"This is for Leo and Birch!" Silver thought before pausing, was this really what would soothe her hatred against Snake? Before she could answer her own questions the rabbit passed the rock. Silver got off Snake head down for the lecture Plague was gonna give her for hesitating.
Plague was silent when they reached the hill. Silver remained completely silent waiting for him to snap at them for being to weak.
"Now that was better! But I told you don't hesitate just kill your opponent when you can! Plague spat his deep red eye's where dull with tiredness.
" just go home both of you, Ryuu and Rika will train you two tomorrow.." Plague said the dream was already starting to fade as he spoke those words.
