I don't think i'm alone in saying that one of the things i truly love about this comic is just how much thought and care goes into crafting the expressiveness of each and every one of the characters, but is anyone else kind of geeking out about how individualized everyone's sitting posture is in the first panel? Absolutely amazing character-work, not to mention attention to detail! Super impressive, as always.
I quite like the dynamic between Cleo and Kaya. Kaya doesn't want to take advantage of her, and Cleo understands that, but even though Cleo is willing to give aid money for a friend without being taken advantage of, Kaya still rejects the notion, if only because she doesn't feel right about the exchange, especially after what Cleo's been through with her prior false friends.
Hrmm, I know of several government programs and several city programs that'd assist with small business start up.
Considering Cleo's connections both with business (And her family's possible connections with city/government) She might be able to help him with the leagaleaze
and get him some programs to assist with repairs and getting the place up and running asap
