Alright, so I have quite a good bit of things to say here with this song:
For anyone of you who are familiar with or had experience playing Gradius games & classic-style shmup games in general, brofists to ya!
Back in the days when one of my former ex used to play Gradius III & I played Gradius V, I learned that this song was used in a montage videos for their 5th mainline installment as a preview, before the game was ready to be released worldwide. That being said, S.F. (also nicknamed "System S.F." as one of his alias, which is a play on "System F," which is an alias held by another person completely, whose name is Ferry Corsten, another EDM producer, with his real name also used, as a musician.
This was a modification I did for the file at hand here. These days, people seem to go by notably slower dance tempos more reminiscent to that of House music than they used to. It's far from the 1990s & millenium years anymore, hence the modification here.
Additionally, transposing the tune by one note down seemed to make more sense to me than what the original presented. It just sounds more engaging & admittedly a bit more standard by the vibes this way.
