This is my first picture on FA, yes its just a photo, but i felt like placing it here. This is Charlie, my Bichon Frise dogie. Sorry if the quality of the photo isn't good, took it on my DSi and it was dark in the room. Dad got him for me the year my mom passed away back in 96, though he became more my dads dog when i began working and was out of the house most of the day. When dad died last year, Charlie became the only house companion i had. He'd greet me when i got home by scolding me for leaving him alone, but he always forgave me when i gave him his food. But as the year went on, he started to develop problems. Most notable is the fact he went blind in his right eye. He was also loosing teeth because dad never learned how to brush his teeth so he never taught me ether. I did my best to take care of him and make him happy, but i couldn't afford to take him to the vets, could barely afford to pay my own bills. So when his heath took a turn for the worst in the last week of April, with family encoragement, i had him put to sleep. Everyone told me it was the right thing for him, didn't make it any easier. Its been over a month since then and i still expect him to scold me when ever i come home from work.
