After last episode's highly dramatic elimination, one of the competitors is pitting himself against the world and is resolute in who he wants out next. But the coldest challenge of the season will counter the hot tempers that run around, with several of the mustelids also wanting a piece of the strategy game whilst deserted all the way in the wilderness of the Squaw Valley alpine resort. Who will end up as the others' pawn, and who will declare checkmate on the whole game?

Note: Our story is set in late winter 2020, in a fictional 'verse that mimics the real-life United States of America. The Squaw Valley alpine resort, where the present chapter takes place, has since changed name into "Olympic Valley" to disassociate itself from what is a derogatory term for Native American women. American Mustelid Alpha does not condone or finds the use of racial epithets and slurs acceptable.

Yep, he ain't certainly there to make friends! The thing with villains like him is that often they're setting up for an obvious fall, but he's actually fending up well for himself and there's been a bit of a consensus on keeping him close, picking him for challenges etc. because he's sort of too good to be ignored. It remains to be seen how much can this approach last!
