That's an interesting question.
By the name, you could imply she is a lamia, as the name is Greek, and lamia are the Greek half-snake hybrids. Naga are the Hindu/Indian half-snake hybrid, though if the creature is female, the proper term is nagi/nagini.
Syrinx does follow a few important traits from the naga, though, such as being capable of using more than two limbs (by way of telekinesis), and having the fully-scaled body rather than being human above and ophidian below.
As well, she gets her coloration and markings from an Indian serpent, the spectacled cobra (There is in fact a hood, hidden by her arms, which she can flare if she desires.) As such, technically, she's more nagi than lamia, but she steals at least a little from both.
