Here we have a photograph of five brothers, but in light of events beyond their control, these five became four.
Decoherent, their lives remain in flux.
A wave poised to collapse.
A great and terrible force has tried to erase the fulcrum which might one day reunite them.
Only time will tell if their paths may one day merge, and the world which should exist can ultimately come to pass.
This photograph, one of happier times in their hometown in Nebraska, is evidence of the unstable ground upon which they walk.
Once that great and terrible force is vanquished and the world is saved, these four brothers will once more become five.“Not until we are lost, in other words not until we have lost the world, do we begin to find ourselves, and realize where we are and the infinite extent of our relations.”
- Henry David Thoreau
Is it fate?/
If it's not easy, it must not be/
At that age/
I cherished the flowers beneath my feet/
But then something must have changed in me/
I used to feel so light/
Now I'll try/
I just want time/
Wait again/
I will be much better then/
Holding on, I said/
I will be much better then/
Look at the sky, I'm still here/
I'll be alive next year/
I can make something good/
Something good/

So welcome to the No Man's Land/
Where you can finally face yourself/
Fear of feeling something real/
Is your friend now/
There's no need to run/
So welcome to the No Man's Land/
Where nothing is as it seems/
Mysteries hidden from you/
Six feet under/
And six feet above/
And to feel your heart this way/
Before it gets too late/
The moon began to split in half/
And the darkness could be touched/
Blindfolded/
You're trying to find a way/
To the bottom of your soul/
But I can see all your scars/
That you wish you could hide/
And I won't let you remember/
What it was like/
When you were here before/
And to hear your voice again/
And to feel your touch this way/
Before it gets too late/

As always, I want extend my thanks to
fcsimba for making my five silver foxes look their absolute best! I absolutely love seeing all five Valern quintuplets together in their hometown of North Platte, Nebraska. I feel like FC did a incredible job ensuring that each of them stood out from the rest. Their individual personalities truly shine as the result of their hard work and effort. I'm so grateful to commission somebody so kind and talented! From left to right and oldest to youngest:
