I find it really strange that after all these years of doing it, I have never seen any major implementation of Metallic Gold and Silver on black paper. I know they are out there, but its still odd I do not recall seeing it anywhere. Not that I care if others do it mind you.
Anyways, this was my very first, unpracticed run with Metallic Gold and Silver WATERCOLORS. I did a Gengar after it. It failed epically. X3 Much harder to paint interesting gradients over large areas.
This looks spectacular in person. If you like watercolor, I definitely suggest getting two bottles of this stuff and trying it out. Unlike colored pencil metallics, these ACTUALLY shine (in this case, the gold was particularly stunning).
