I've run into a few people that I've VERY MUCH DISLIKED but aside from the initial awkwardness most conventions are large enough to avoid any confrontation what so ever. Generally, it's a stupid idea to confront anyone in an environment where they are most likely surrounded by all their friends at any given time.

Plus like only 2% of the people going with the intent of starting shit with Disliked Wolf will actually even remember what he looks like when they go there and that's ASSUMING they're not so distracted with, you know, being at the WORLD'S BIGGEST FURRY CONVENTION to actually be keeping an eye out for him.

Even just stalking people around at conventions can get you in shit with security if even ONE person thinks you're acting fishy-- I volunteer at a Sci-Fi convention every April and a couple of years ago we had a problem with this guy following my older sister around the entire time, and then following me around when he found out I was her sister whenever he couldn't find her. Neither of us said anything about it, it was a small con so it couldn't have been that big a deal... But then we were approached by security explaining that they kicked him out because they thought it was fishy that he had been taking pictures of us the entire time. I'm not even kidding.

Interestingly enough, the onlyy exposure to furry drama I've really had is the one in the comment section of this image. Its like war, I know it exists, but I havent been personally involved in it. I think the best way to deal with someone who has wronged people in the fandom is to completely ignore them to the point of irrelevancy. Anyone who takes an online SE or flame artist so seriously that they would start wishing or planning for real world revenge is truly at the height of human stupidity and in fact only justifies the art itself...as it's usually designed/performed ~explicitly~ for the sake of exploiting such stupidity and ignorant, backwards, hypocritical thinking. In other words, if you start acting that way in reaction to things they do...you're basically signing up to be their little bitch and to dance like an pwned little puppet for them. Allan got banned from FA because he scammed a bunch of losers I mean users out of their monies by lying about being homeless and freezing on the street. He then turned around and spent every dime on artwork of his durpsona jerking off. Almost every single pic was him jerking off.

He then made a journal on another site saying he was going to AC and death threats ensued.
When he went no one did a damn thing to him.

The sad thing is that this isn't just true for furries, it's basically anyone on the internet. It's pathetic when people use the anonymity granted by being online to do whatever they want (granted, it can be used for more than just ranting; if you're going to keep your dignity offline, think about what you post/do online too)

My opinion? Unless you'd do/say the same thing to somebody you know offline (for all you know, you might know someone you're insulting offline and not know it's them), don't say/do it online.
