For this week's personal project, I felt like drawing Loona from "Helluva Boss".
That third episode was pretty good, I think. Everyone's going gaga for Loona's human form, and yeah she's pretty neat no matter what form she's in. It's her abrasive-tough-exterior-soft-interior character what makes her so appealing and likeable, which is why I've wanted to draw a picture of her since she first appeared in the pilot. The idea of a hellhound being a secretary with anger management issues is deeply hilarious to me. I'm not that much into "Hazbin Hotel" (although Angel Dust is flawless) but "Helluva Boss"? I love it, it's my exact type of humour: Crude, blunt, and unapologetic. For something that premiered on YouTube they got away with a lot of shit.
I've noticed this has become the "character floating in mid-air" project, and that's something that's stopping now (unless I find an excuse for the next one). It's too easy to draw a character with no points of contact on the ground, and while it makes for expedient sketching it also fosters a worrying amount of complacency. For that, I'll stop drawing characters jumping in mid-air, from now on their feet (or paws, or hooves, etc.) will stay firmly on the ground (at the very least one of them will).
If you're wondering, why is Loona wielding a massive bone attached to a phone? I have no idea. She's probably had it with a very obnoxious client.
Please, let me know what you think of it in the comments. I appreciate each and every single one I receive.

Thank you!
