Well, my friend didn't want to carry around this national geographic magazine for references in drawing all day so she gave it to me. I opened it up to the page she book marked and on it there was this pic of this dog playing with a polar bear. It was really cute so thought I may as well draw some real life animals just to gain some insight into what animals really look like. It's not my usual thing to do RL animals, nor canines for that matter, but it came out well. I didn't have time for the polar bear but whatever.

Done with a traditional pencil I found and tinted in PS.
