This was a long time ago. I was just being cryptic back then. I used these "smith charts" in college, and once I noticed this shape in the chart I kept seeing it. For some reason it was 8 months or so before I finally decided to trace it out and scan it in. It only took 2 minutes to trace out, but at least an hour to edit all the numbers and text out of the chart (which has actual uses in engineering/math).
