I woke up a couple of Sundays ago to see a new message on my phone, from my sister to a group chat I’m in. It was a picture of a beautiful valley scene blanketed by snow. I smiled at the sight, before doing a double-take. Was that my valley? I got out of bed and went to my window, and saw the very same blanket of snow. Those familiar feelings of excitement and imagination came rushing to me at an instant! I’ve always loved the snow, given how rarely we get it here, and I knew I had to dress warmly and go out to take some pictures.
This isn’t the picture to which I first referred, by the way. This is one taken on my trusty red camera, looking down the Ogmore Valley to the south. I think I’ve found my Christmas card image for this year. ^__^
