When this little daffodil shoot decided it was time to poke through the soil and show itself off to the world, I can’t imagine it was very happy when the heavens opened, and fat flakes of snow began falling onto it. Not that it seems to mind. After all, the snow will melt into water to give it sustenance, and it is just a plant. Mind you, if scientists can teach spinach to send e-mails using nanotechnology, I suppose anything is possible.
