After a long, hectic night, it was finally time for her to get off from her job at the cafe. Waitress pay wasn't a whole lot to live off of in the city, but she had a boyfriend who managed to fall into money quite often, so she could manage. It seemed like any other night to her, with the exception of one thing: her boyfriend always contacted her after she got off of work. This night, no message came. She turned to say goodbye to her coworkers - it would be the last time she would ever see them.
As irony would have it, the creature that was responsible for the disappearance of the waitress' boyfriend was very close to her indeed. These masked, striped-tailed creatures sure did taste good. One more couldn't hurt a bit. Slowly, it rolled its already hefty body into an alleyway to wait out its meal.

I love the small appearance of the blob in the picture, as if it's watching her with that psychotic like intent. Very creepy dude. And nice work on her innocence. As for the background. It looks very well done dude, very downtownish. thats not a word.
I like the way in the story you give the blob the ravenous personality. As iff it's killed one, which is quite a meal in itself. and yet goes right after another one. Very twisted sir.
