Hold On, The Fallen Arise
I'm starting to get a clearer view of who Certainty is. The more time he resides within Faith's body, the more his corporeal form takes root.
As far as species, Cerastes Cerastes (the horned viper) makes more and more sense as I contemplate it. Certainty, cerastes, and serpent have good consonance and assonance with each other. And horns, because horns. Plus the split tongue and slit pupil... all the aesthetics are where I'd like them.
Though they're still capable of metamorphosis into lamia, gorgon, and chimera forms... they're finding a simple pseudo-symmetrical body split is comfy, because it allows them to truly talk to each other.

This is an interesting selection of snake species, I heard about horned snakes somewhere, but I think yours is the most horned of all x3)
Also, the unusual proportions of Serenity - are you on purpose, doesn't this show the character's exhaustion or very anger? :O) Or it's just a little cartoonish inspiration? o.o

You are right to identify Certainty as "cartoonish" here! (in fact, if you click the "Download" link for the submission you will see the file name of the uploaded picture is "simple toony".) The unusual proportions may become more usual. When I think about the art that has inspired me throughout my life, I tend to steer back towards toons.
I really like to see how you change Faith's design to freedom when it is Certainty, I like to see the colors and shapes that freedom acquires, even though I personally prefer its lamia shape, since in this way I still don't get used to the snake coming out from between his buttocks, it still seems very original to me and that you achieve good compositions
At the moment, the drawing that I liked the most is that of "Outbad", partly because I have a strong tendency to be attracted to very bright green colors.
Regarding the shading, it is seen that it has improved, but I think that you can still do it even better the next time you can spend time to continue experimenting x3
Anyway, in each new piece you can see that you learn something new and that you also have fun, that makes me very happy!

XD I expect the whole "snake coming out of the butt" arrangement to be a source for jokes for as long as I have this character. I like dark and macabre pictures, of course, but I try to find ways to include humorous elements. I can think of lots of silly conversations Faith and Certainty would have with each other and they'd maybe make good comics.
