"I am not a violent man, but I can show you what it means to be High Shaman of the clan. Turn back. Now." -Fergelm, trying to deter a group of Nightmoon kobold raiders.
Gnolls are not exactly big travelers on Norrath, preferring to stay within the confines of their territory more often than not. Yet, every now and then, some will venture beyond their territory to see why lies beyond. For Fergelm, he did that, but traveled all across Norrath on a self-searching pilgrimage and to learn all about the other races and other cultures. For someone as wizened and journeyed as him, it came across as a big shock when he, of all members of his clan, was picked by Glefy to be her mate. Then again, it takes guts to travel to the ancient lair of a frost dragon and ask for a scale to be used as a gift to court someone with. Fergelm is a High Shaman- the very pinnacle of spiritual guidance for his people, and he takes his job seriously and with pride. Fergelm is a non-violent individual, which conflicts with Glefy's desire for battle and bloodlust funnily enough. Often times, Fergelm acts as Glefy's 'voice of reason' as to not have her do something overly drastic or perilous. Even though Fergelm carries the name of 'Spiritfang', he beckons no powers of the ancient dragon, as he was mated into the title as opposed to being directly from the bloodline of the Spiritfang lineage. Not that it bothers him, as total power isn't something he himself desires. Peace and tranquility for his people are all he desires, and it's said Fergelm himself has the ability to peer into the very future itself, deciphering and seeing all manners of futures and timelines. When questioned about this though, he always answers in the form of a riddle, never truly giving a straight answer. Perhaps to further broaden the minds of those who ask, or to try and hide what manner of spiritual power he has.
And this sums up the Spiritfang family! Jardakk, Glefy, and now, Fergelm, the wise shaman. Loads of fun making Fergelm a long time ago. Leave a watch and a fav if you liked, and stay tuned for more!
