More progress.
Eyebrows are in place, though they need more work to true them up.
I have sunk the oculars, (cut out the eye sockets.) But they need to be evened out.
I am debating making the chin more solid.
It probably doesn't need to be larger- but detail has to be exaggerated in moulds like these because so much is lost when the thick plastic forms onto it.
Its not like working fiberglass; the vacuforming process will only pick up so much detail from underneath.
The mouth cut will definitely need to be deeper- there has to be room to cut the line for those wishing a movable jaw.
And for those making a static mouth...there still needs to be room to hide the edges of the fur.
I'll probably include a taxidermy tip in the instructions- cut the mouth line and stuff the edges of the fur into it, then form lips over the seam to make a smooth mouth overhang with minimal fuss.
Thats probably covered in other people's fursuiting pages, but I have no idea at the moment.
