So this is my new baby savannah monitor, King.
He's only about 9 inches long and he's better friends with the tweezers that bring him big fat crickets than he is with me.
He's partway through one of his first sheds in this photo. It's blurry because he wouldn't stay still (he's going to be this jittery until he's big enough to bite, but I'm hoping he'll be mellowed out by then)
