The release of the new Beast Wars reboot comic and the Kingdom toyline has got me pretty hyped! Beast Wars was my favorite TV show as a kid and it set me down the path to becoming the huge geek and author I am today. I wouldn't be here if it hadn't gotten me into the larger Transformers fandom, which got me playing on my very first RPG, which got me interested in writing for fun and not just school assignments. So here's my main Beast Wars OC, a drawing which I commissioned Transformers comic artist Brendan Cahill to draw for me at TFCon 2014, and colored myself. Moonhunter's alt mode is a werewolf. Which might seem unsurprising now, but he was technically my first foray into that interest too.

You aren't the only one who's a big Beast Wars fan - I really wish Hasbro would redo it to the level of CGI used in the 2015 (I think?) Transformers cartoon because the CGI they used at the time hasn't really aged well, but damn if the show isn't still awesome despite that.
Are all of the original VA still alive? Also, I'd also like to see them do up the 'Bitch Wars' episode they never did, for obvious reasons...probably with a different name.
And also like to see them release the music, because as corny as some of it was *cough*Silverbolt's theme*cough*, a lot of it was really awesome, especially the theme that plays during the Vok Planetbuster deployment and firing scenes, Megatron firing on Optimus Prime and the subsequent timestorm, Megatron rising from the pool of lava Trantulus dumped him in right in front of the latter (who I seriously thought was going to lubricate himself when that happened) transformed into a massive red dragon and the Nemesis rising out of the ocean.

The BW and BM soundtracks are underrated af, especially the latter. Megatron and Tankor in particular have great themes. Thrust's is also pretty good but it's overused like crazy.
In BW the standout for me was always the "apocalypse" soundtrack (idk if that's the official name but it fits), which is used whenever Megatron or the Vok is about to something particularly ridiculous. Like the Planet Buster. Or killing Optimus Prime.

There's a site out there that called that particular track and all its variants 'Celestial Destruction' - but it's not an official site, so obviously neither is the music name.
As for anything relating to Beast Machines...the less said about that, the better - I am really, REALLY not a fan of that show...it may officially be a Beast Wars sequel, but it may as well be a different show entirely from my perspective. The only reason I'd even consider watching it now is the corny one-liners (mostly from Megatron or Rattrap), some of the fight scenes and Noble (this one for obvious reasons).
And on the subject of Optimus Prime's 'death'...I feel like those final few minutes of part 3 of The Agenda was BW's most powerful moment - I mean, from the start of Megatron entering the Ark, you knew something majorly bad was about to happen when that foreboding music starts playing and all through Megatron's megalomaniacal speech up until he finally reaches Optimus' Stasis-locked body when the tempo starts rising, the brief cut to outside and more normal music as Primal and the rest of the Maximals try desperately to break in and stop Megatron (along with yet another showing of Badass Rhiniox™, then back inside as Megatron prepares his risky gambit and the music gets all tense again and just starts climbing and climbing until...all hell breaks loose with a venom-dripping growl of utter hatred 'FAREWELL' and the subsequent timestorm wreaking utter havoc on everything.
I swear, I don't know if the producers realized at the time the TRUE consequences of Megatron's actions at that exact moment, though given some of the dialogue spouted by both Megatron and others in both that episode and the one immediately following, they must've had at least SOME inkling of a universe with Optimus Prime dead - namely, one that would no longer exist because Unicron would've won during that whole Cybertron business back in 2005...or 2003 - I never actually saw the movie, so I don't recall offpaw what year it was set in-universe.

I'm always open to socializing with more Transformers fans, though I rarely bother with fan groups.
