Sketch of mah boy Victor headin out to catch some waves.
He's come a long way over his lifetime, but I'm super happy with the fox he's turned into today. Back when he was originally created he was supposed to be the sort of antagonist to Vivien and Ark, having been jealous they were given the command of Fuchs Platoon's formation instead of him. Now he's much more of a team player, being a very relaxed kind of dude who's just now discovering what having real friends is like for the first time. Having come from a very prim and proper family, etiquette was the most important thing. Running around causing a ruckus with this "party hoodlum attitude" was strictly frowned upon, so he didn't really get a chance to have real fun until he joined up with the crew.
He definitely still carries a bit of his British arrogance around with him, especially when it involves armored combat, but he's much more relaxed about it and just happy he has people he can call friends now. But just because he didn't have people to party with didn't mean he didn't get to partake in sport activities, so I decided to draw one of them here. His family would often vacation on tropical islands with waves, so when he was old enough to he started to learn to surf board. He was also taught how to surf by some of the best teachers money could buy, so he's quite good at it to boot.
Foxbruary goin strong, and I really enjoyed drawing Victor on this one. I actually think I made him a little hotter than I anticipated... he's so tone now. I love it.

Thanks! I've been on several vacations to the beach in the past, so I relatively know how waves break and really enjoy doing paint up coloring like that.
Where using lighter and lighter shades indicates a higher amount of light (or in this case foam) hitting the object in question.

When you wake up and the first thing you see is a cute Victor on the beach, you know its gonna be a good day.
I especially like how the orange fur makes such a strong contrast against the beautiful water. And you really nailed the gesture <3
