Here I perform Jehan Alain's Balade en Mode Phrygien on the pipe organ, a nice piece to play between parts of the service at times, and with interesting modal movement.

On the Swell I have the 8' Oboe playing the solo line, and on the accompaniment I have the 8' and 4' flutes from the Great. On the pedal only the 32' Contrabourdon which plays only 4 notes throughout the piece.

The middle section uses the Vox Humana 8' from the Swell.
