Benzemuth, lived in a secluded lifestyle with his family, and restricted on what he wanted to do. His hobby, his favorite foods, and sports, are all restricted by his parents, which slowly gives him the personality of a spiteful and merciless person. After his bottled-up emotions caused him of his Haven Ceremanders' heritage and was expelled from the city for 10 years, he felt the true freedom and his negative personality developed from his city life is mellowed out by this newfound outlook.

The very one thing he loves to try ever since his young age is the martial arts of lion dancing. At each lunar new year period, he eagerly begs at Haien to teach him the arts of lion dance several times, which the temple chief eventually able to contacts his old associations to allow him to learn and master most of the advanced techniques within a short time due to his eager interest and his previous profession to sumo martial arts he's forced to learn.

During his birthday, the inspired juniors and seniors of the lion dancing club contacted his youngest brother to give him the extra large lion head and costumes that specifically fits him as his surprise birthday presents. This makes Benzemuth overjoyed and he swore to perform his club's lion dance to the Phloetown orphanage during the lunar new year to share his joy to them.
