lol oh i remember how much "fun" Bathing rats is. trying to clean anymore than 2 at once is chaos. xDDD your babies are so ute by the way <3 cute little black, white, and grey one. thats adorable!

This is true. :) I once tried bathing five rats at once. I used a bathtub for that, but it was utter insanity!

i ALWAYS bathed my rats in the tub... they ALWAYS lept out and onto the floor and as soon as i could get one and put it back in, one of the others had jumepd out >_< xDD i miss having rats. but the lifespan is too short. So i'm not getting anymore.

Yeah, that's the big drawback. Huge hearts, itty bitty lifespans.

Yea... i was heartbroken when my first rat died. After her having been like a daughter to me for 2 an a half years. been with me to at least 3 dozen small concerts, festivals, and gatherings.. in the newspaper 3 times.. and to 4 US states. very well traveled, Well loved baby girl. And i miss my sweet Mimi so bad. BUT i intend to have her tattoo'd on me someday on the side of my neck where she used to sit. She was a good kid. ^^; And honestly no rat ever came close o that after her so.. i think i'll try ferrets when i can. Longer lifespan i hear...

That is quite a sad story. I loved my pet rats too, but they to live to short a life. Also the tattoo sounds like a nice way to remember her. Hopefully a ferret proves to be a good pet for you. ^_^
