This is the seventh chapter of my novel, Trepidation. Wow. A lot happens in this one. Pavel has a long chat, though now he has started to second guess himself. Things are getting more and more serious as the day goes on. Thankfully, our hero has someone there for him in one of his darkest hours.
Unfortunately, I won't be uploading anymore chapters for at least a week or so. So I apologize to the few of you actually reading this.

Side note- Where it says "Russian speak" it is supposed to read "Трахните меня" but for some reason I can't get the submission to say these words. If anyone can help me out, I would greatly appreciate it. Send me a PM please rather than commenting here.

The flow of this chapter really seems to work. At first, near the beginning, it felt like we (the readers...) were getting way to much exposition piled on us, and at the same time the plot felt like it was trying to leave us in the dust. But then things started to slow down once Pavel gets to Chris, and we're able to absorb all the info better, or at least put it aside to be thought about later. I find this is probably because that is exactly what the main character is going through, which is good, cuz it means we're getting sucked into the narrative right along with the narrative.
Also, about the memory altering drugs, insert obvious 1984 joke here.
I'm disappointed that you're gonna be taking a break from uploading these for a while. I've been looking forward to reading a new chapter every day, but this story is definitely worth waiting for.
(... heh. Siberian Tiger cursing in Russian. I'm reminded of a Nicolas Cage quote. "Always resort to your native tongue in times of anger. And in times of ecstasy.")

Yeah I felt that this chapter has a lot of exposition, though I couldn't really space it out with how the story was progressing. Putting in the bit with Chris though I think did help things quite a bit! And what's so funny about 1984? I wasn't around in that year. D:
As for the break, I'm going to be gone for the next few days, and at the same time I'm hoping that maybe I can get more people's attention before uploading the remaining chapters. And PS, I totally stole the idea of Pavel cursing in Russian from that Nick Cage movie. X3
