A little aussie shepherd comes across something wonderful - a tennis ball. He must guard it and watch for any sudden movements!
My last upload before I head out on my plane =) I'm leaving in under an hour for the airport! This guy will, again, be available in the Anthrocon art show. I honestly can't believe I finished him since he was a last minute project. I tend to have one of those every year =P
Oh and before anyone mentions the tail, some aussies are born with bob tails and others are born with long ones, which are generally docked. I thought the long tail was too cute to dock it off him

Great drawing! Wow! I remember doing the exact same thing when i was a pup too. I'm not fooled anymore. A stationary ball is begging to be picked up and played with.

Omg this is too adorable!!! I just love his little pose and how excited he is about that ball... this is a true characteristic of Aussies for sure!! Mine loves his toys so much.

It was nice to run into you at Anthrocon this year. I looked in the Art Auction for this piece but I didn't find it to place a bid. I probably just missed it, but I was pretty dogged about herding it down.
Anyway, I hope it sold for ya. It's tooooo cute.
