"A species of large, lizard-like people. They call themselves the Elodrum, which in Common translates to "Beaded", referring to their cultural beaded clothing decoration and their round, bead-like scales.

A culture of wandering crafting guilds, the Elodrum call the entire region their home and are generally welcome in all nations as skilled crafters and adept water-finders. They deck themselves in beaded lacing which they rattle against their hard scales as a form of communication and expression. This is thought to be derived from their cultural taming of rattlesnakes as pets their long-time herding of cattlesnakes as a source of labor, meat, venom, leather, and more. The more complicated and all-covering a bead-wear outfit, the more formal it is considered."
