Ladies and Gentlemen! Hell has frozen over.... no sex or nudity in this at all!
Jessica "Gammie" Stevens, who is the grandmother of my very first character, Meghan and Rebecca Paddington (donkey) are sitting in the screened in porch at my camp up in upstate NY. They like it there as it's a great place to read because it's quiet.
Gammie is what her granddaughter, Meghan, called her when she was just a wee lass. The title has stuck since. Jessica (raccoon) is, as of this writing, somewhere on the order of verging on 75-80 years old, yet she doesn't look it or act it. She eats a hearty mid-west breakfast (she's from the mid-west/ Plains) and that breakfast has stuff like eggs, bacon, hash browns and other.
She's a tough lady and doesn't feel old.
Rebecca, on the other hand, is a shy and quiet donkey. She works at the Flushing Public Library as a librarian. She's a big reader and she chose the library because she wants to be in the company f books.
A funny thing about Rebecca is that when she's scared or nervous, she pees. I don't mean a brief trickle. She literally pisses herself hard. Also, if you pull her tail she screams just like a donkey. She is also afraid to laugh because the donkey bray comes out when she laughs.

Surprise!
Actually that isn't a yard but a river with a narrow strip of and in the middle of it. The scene is based off of a camp that my grandfather ( was owned by his youngest son) up near the St. Lawrence Seaway.
That flat looking area where you think you saw grass is actually the part of the river that was damned by beavers. That's water plants there ( there are also lilypads but I didn't put them in). We would take the row boat out in that and sometimes have a turtle poke his head up. On the other side of the trees, is the open part of the river.
I loved it up there.... so quiet.

Nice to see clean art, but something about their necks and postures seems off to me.
Something about the character reading the book seems forced, like its a uncomfortable pose, shes not bending back or bending forward enough, dunno just seems awkward. The other characters sitting also seems a little off, she seems to be hovering a little over the edge, maybe if one of the legs was hanging down to make the scene a little more solid (I'm out of ways to describe it, it just looks a little like shes meant to be sitting on the ground not on a bench). Anyway please do more non adult work, I look forward to seeing more.
Added bit after looking over the descriptions:
A 70 to 80 year old character would probably not have such toned muscles, I'm not saying its impossible and considering this is a different species maybe that's fine but if she had a little less tone, maybe slight saggyness around the mouth and boobs....just a thought.
Also the on a subject of the other character having a loose bowel movement the moment shes scared would probably prevent her from wearing shorts, shed need a colostomy bag always to hand to prevent herself making a mess everytime, which she probably would hide under her clothing.
I would like to say this is just criticism not a trolling comment :)

Well, last night I had a rather lengthy reply/explanation but just as I was a cut to post it, the damn browser decided to die. I wish I could remember exactly what I wrote but I can't.
So, I'll take the cheap way out and say I was just really tired after a week at work. I even slept like over 9 hours each day during that weekend. To be honest, I kinda hate doing interiors or thing like buildings. Its easier to do outdoor scenery, at least, for me.
Gammie, she's not a lady to just sit around and rot in her old age. I did kinda think that she was a bit toned but hey, she's a tough lady. She always took great care of herself.
I think you forgot about Rebecca's problem, she pees when scared/nervous. I can understand that as I tend to do that myself. I doubt there's a maxi pad out there that's good enough for her.
And don't fell bad about the criticism, it is welcome. Sometimes when people say it's great or good and I know it's not then I wonder if they really meant it. There are days where I'll just suck and there will be days where I'll be on top of my game. Back in 2005, I had a month of drawing where I saw so much wrong that I took an art vacation the next month. I didn't life a pen or pencil at whole time. when I returned... I was on a roll that lasted into the next year.

It's almost where I am at now. It seems that my job keeps adding work and it'll take a lot out of me. My supervisor keeps telling us that it's more work and that's a good thing. Well, it's not. I may be making more money but I can't use the stuff I bought with that money if I'm inside the warehouse all day.
