It's quite separate from carpentry since it uses a very specific type of saw and is quite brittle, but it's really not too hard to learn!

awesome work, it's a pity that the photo is blurry a little, but you did a very beautiful piece. I suppose you should be well equipped to do that sculpture.

Thank you very much! I'm still working on my drawing so that it can complement the woodworking, but I'm very proud to be doing a kind of art that I've only seen two other furs specialize in.

And yeah, gonna be trying to figure out my camera soon too ^^;

Not quite ^^;. This was done by a scroll saw. Though it is only a step higher than by hand in terms of tediousness.

yea but you have to what, drill each area and thread the blade though and guide it all around for each cutout yes? i want to build something to do that kinda thing by CNC, dont have the patience or steadiness for that, looks awesome btw.
