Alright, time to properly introduce Annie's mother and current head of the McCormick family. But what's a noble without a loyal butler?
--Elizabeth McCormick, age 48--
Born in the Rowans family, known in Slateport City as excellent merchants, Elizabeth has quickly proven herself to be a person of a strong-willed spirit, not letting anyone or anything stop her in pursuing her goals, while helping with her family business. She was also known to be a extremely stubborn person, which would probably backfire on her when she physically confronted a "uptight, snobbish bastard of a Gallade" who was constantly bothering her and other female workers in their store. It turned out he was a member of the powerful and influential family, McCormicks, who came over from Petalburg City with a group of his "friends". Fearing for their daughter after the Gallade left, not without a threat, Elizabeth's parents sent her to the Pokemon Combat Academy in Viridian City, hoping that there she will learn to control herself. Soon after her arrival, she met another Gallade, Julian, who turned out to be the eldest of the McCormick brothers (the Gallade who was attacked by Elizabeth being one of his relatives). After some initial issues and misunderstandings, two became closer with time, and later on, started a relationship-much to the protest of the several members of the family, but approved by Julian's parents. Several years after graduation, the the two married happily, soon getting their first and only child, Annie. Six years later, Annie's father died in a combat while trying to save his daughter. Devastated by her husband's death, but determined to try and keep the family together, Elizabeth quickly recovered and took over the family business together with the youngest of the McCormick brothers, Richard, while trying to discover who initially ordered the assault on their daughter. Elizabeth is known to be a strict and pedant, yet fair and generous person towards the workers and servants. Makes sure everyone, even the family members follow the rules set in front of them, and does not tollerate the snobbish behaviour some of her late husband's relatives tend to show off. She often relies on her most loyal servant, main butler of the McCormick mansion, Isaac.
--Isaac Worthington, age 75--
Born in the family that served the McCormicks for generations, Isaac is possibly the most efficient and loyal butler that family had in service. In a lot of traits similar to Elizabeth, a bit spicied up with his sarcastic sense of humor, and, in his own way, shows extreme care and fatherly love for Annie (he's the only one who adresses her by the full name, Annabelle, without the title). Appearing at first as a creepy, scary and grumpy old man, those who try to get to know him quickly learn that he's a complete opposite of it-just a bit masked by the cold appearrance. Despite his age, he's an extremely powerful psychic and a skilled fighter, and as such he in a way acts as a guardian of the family-he can and will kick some asses if someone threatens his masters' security.
