Ah thank you so much! I am working with Blender, yes, an image like this with the samples cranked up takes about 20 minutes to render!

20 minutes? :o That's insane... my images can take up to 20hrs! and the quality isn't even looking as good as yours. (using Maya with 8 years old PC)
I'm definitely doing something wrong... :D

Oh gosh! There's tons of optimisations I use to get render times down, such as OptiX RTX acceleration, denoising, and lots of other little tricks!
