(Geoff)
After about an hour of driving (it would've taken two and a half on a bike), Geoff and Lola finally made it to Silph City. After driving around for a bit, the friends finally reached Geoff's new home. It wasn't too eye-catching, and the house was big, but not too big. It was dull brown and grey and wasn't the shape of a typical home. Geoff got out of the car and got his stuff out, which consisted of two grocery bags, one suitcase, and a bike. Lola stared at the home.
"So, how'd you get a place like this?" she asked.
"The rent was surprisingly cheap. Plus, no one else was after it, for some reason," Geoff explained.
Lola shrugged and waved. Geoff waved back as she drove off. Once Lola was gone, Geoff turned to the house unsurely. He sighed.
Welp... he goes fucking nothing... Geoff thought.
Taking out the key, Geoff unlocked the door, grabbed his stuff, and took it in w/ him. The interior of the house was cozier than the exterior let on. It had a bit of an old-timey feel w/ old-looking paintings, strange furniture, etc. As Geoff moved forward, he eventually reached a living room area. There was a pretty-looking sofa, a mirror, and a couple of tables. A bit away, there was an old-timey kitchen w/ what looked like a wood-burning oven. Geoff looked around the home w/ a strange expression.
Huh. Weird taste, Geoff thought. The last people must've really fucking liked the 1900's sense of style.
After putting his grocery bags on the kitchen table and leaving his bike in the living room, Geoff took his suitcase and went back to the small opening hall. There was a set of stairs leading upwards on the right end of the hall. Geoff made his way up the creaky steps. Midway up, Geoff suddenly heard a distorted sound. It sounded like a giggle w/ a distortion effect. Geoff, put off by this, paused for a bit before forging on. At the top, there was another hallway. This one far more barren compared to the entrance one. There were four rooms, two on one side, two on the other. As Geoff walked forward on the creaky floor, he kept on hearing that weird giggle-like sound.
"Dafuq?" Geoff asked under his breath.
He checked the first left room. It was a minimalistic bathroom that simply had a sink, a mirror, a toilet, and a basic-looking shower. Sadly, there wasn't anything else. Leaving the bathroom, Geoff moved on to the first right room as more giggles sounded. In this one... there was almost nothing. All this empty room had was a window, a closet, and nothing else. Geoff looked over the barren space w/ a small smile.
"So this is where I'll start, huh?"
Leaving his suitcase in this room, Geoff left the room and moved on to the second right room. As he did so, though, the giggles grew increasingly louder! Geoff hesitated for a bit before finally opening the door. Inside, Geoff saw something very eerie. It looked like a kid's room. Inside, there was a kid's bed w/ a colorful blanket. There were also some weird, crude drawings of a black, furry monster coated parts of the left and right walls. The creepy part, though, was the tally marks. The wall touching the bed's right-hand side had tally marks forcibly etched into it. There were so many of them that the wall was completely covered! Finally, there were a bunch of spiderwebs on the ceiling and in every corner. Geoff shuddered.
Holy shit, this room is fucking weird... Geoff thought.
He looked at the bed curiously and sighed.
Well, maybe I can use this until I can get a better one, of course, Geoff thought.
Gingerly, he sat on the bed. It felt a bit stiff, but Geoff felt like he could do worse. Before he could settle in, however, suddenly, Geoff felt a dark hand clamp around his left ankle!
"Hello!" shouted a distorted voice.
Now, what do you think Geoff's response was? Like any regular person, Geoff let out a frightened scream and immediately stomped on the hand. After two stomps, the appendage instantly retracted.
"Owie..." the voice said pathetically.
Free, Geoff quickly rushed out of that room, and he didn't stop until he was outside! Not too far from the house, though, Geoff had to stop w/ a miffed look.
"Fuck, that was the only house I could get that cheap..." Geoff muttered.
He groaned and begrudgingly made his way back into the house. Reluctantly, Geoff made his way back upstairs and back into that room. Geoff brought out his SOUL weapon, a long grey spear, and pointed it at the bed.
"Who are you, and what the hell are you doing in my house?" Geoff growled out w/ bravado.
A chuckle sounded out.
"Funny. You refer to this house as yours." The voice said.
Geoff gave a confused look.
"Dafuq, of course, it's my house. I have the keys and everything!"
"Uh uh. That doesn't necessarily make it yooouurs," The voice said childishly.
"Either way, get out of there. Don't try anything, though. I'm armed," Geoff said sternly.
"Hee hee! If you insist..."
Slowly, the creature slunk out, and it took all of Geoff's willpower not to run off. The chubby monster looked both fluffy and gooey at the same time. It had a familiar-looking four-point fluff head w/ spiderwebs connected between. The scary parts, though, were the face and companion. The lips were connected w/ strands of goo and were stretched into a wide smile. The eyes were pure red and looked insane w/ a strange, curious glint. As for the companion, there was a black and red spider hanging from one of the monster's fluff points. Geoff held his spear higher but could barely keep from shaking. The creature simply giggled again w/ clawed paw over its mouth.
"You look so silly!" It said distortedly, "You act like there's some scary beast in here w/ us! Heh heh heh!"

Geoff felt both scared and confused.
"Why the hell are you here?!" Geoff shouted.
The beast giggled again.
"This is my home, silly! I've lived here all my life."
Geoff lowered his spear a bit.
"Are you for real?"
The beast smiled w/ a nod.
"Of course! I've been here on my own since I was six years old, tee hee."
The creature punctuated this by holding up six fingers. Geoff lowered his weapon further w/ a look of disbelief.
"What happened to your parents?"
"Well, it's one parent. My dad left me here when I was six. Hee, he said if I could 'survive' long enough, he'd come back! Whatever that means ^w^," The creature explained.
Geoff lowered his spear and gave a weird look.
"Bruh, your dad left you."
The monster giggled again.
"Yeah, but he's coming back any day now! I mean, I know it's been about fifteen years since he left, but I know he'll be back soon *pant* *pant*!"
Geoff dissipated his weapon.
"Dude, your dad isn't coming back."
"Yeah, he is, silly!" The monster said.
Geoff shook his head. The creature's expression grew more strained, and the spider began to hiss in warning.
"Yes, he is, stupid."
"Bitch. It's been 15 years," Geoff countered.
The monster began to seethe.
"Shut up. That means nothing *pant* *pant*."
Geoff knew that he should quit while he was ahead, but, foolishly, he pressed on.
"Your dad isn't coming. If he didn't come back far sooner, what makes you think that he'd come after fifteen years?"
The spider's hiss grew louder as a shadow fell over the monster's eyes.
"Shut up."
"I really hate to break it to you, but-"
"I SAID SHUT UUUUPPPPP!!!!!!! The monster screamed.
Suddenly, the door slammed shut! Geoff immediately tried to pull and turn the handle, but it was sealed shut! The bed then began to float, and the drawings began to flutter rapidly. Then, the creature forcibly levitated Geoff toward him!
"MY DADDY IS COMING BACK! HE PROMISED ME HE WOULD, YOU IDIOOOTTTT!!!!!" The monster shouted.
Geoff, panicking, tried to struggle out of the psychic grip to no avail.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" Geoff shouted desperately.
"HE WILL COME BACK! I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU SAY! I'VE WAITED FIFTEEN YEARS! FIFTEEN HECKING YEEEEEEAAAAAARRS!!!!!!!"
"I'm sorry! Please, let me go! I take it back!" Geoff shouted fearfully.
Upon hearing that and seeing Geoff's expression, the monster began to calm down. Slowly, the drawings stilled, and the bed came back down. After a bit, Geoff was lowered as the beast turned.
"Please... NEVER say that again."
Geoff breathed hard as his heart kept beating fast.
Holy FUCK... He thought.
"Are you good now?" Geoff asked shakily.
After taking a deep breath, the creature turned back. This time, it was back to its childish persona.
"Yes, of course, silly :}!"
Geoff grimaced.
This is the shit I've gotta deal w/ now? Are you fucking kidding me?! Geoff thought.
The monster then held its hand behind its back and tilted its head.
"So, what's your name :>?"
Geoff gave a weird look. This guy had screamed at him not even a minute ago!
But, to be fair, I did fucking instigate it... Geoff thought.
"Geoff."
The monster chuckled.
"That's a nice name! My name's Chester Erobos Nightshade, but you can just call me Chester :3!"
Weird full name... Geoff thought, slowly calming down.
"Want to be friends?" Chester asked sweetly (at least, as sweet you can be w/ a distorted voice).
Geoff gave him a "Seriously?" look.
"Um, not now," Geoff said.
Chester cast his gaze down.
"Oh...
He then looked to his spider.
"Add another one to the list, Thread."
Geoff gave a confused look.
"Thread?"
Chester held his hand out and the spider jumped onto it.
"Yeah, Thread. He's my only friend, and he's been keeping count of all the people who have run out on us..."
Thread then made a salute w/ his right front leg. Geoff, weirded out, shook his head, and began to walk off.
"I need my damn coffee, already..."
(Chester)
Thread then crawled into Chester's fur. Chester looked after Geoff, w/ a lonely look.
Please be my friend... I'm... I'm so lonely... heh. I hope your fun... Chester thought.
Chester then left his room to follow Geoff, excited at the prospect of finally living w/ someone who wasn't Thread.
